President

Nourbese Flint serves as a program manager with Black Women for Wellness (BWW). Here, she directs environmental and reproductive health work, organize community advocacy and works on policy.

In addition, Nourbese serves as the head of civic engagement with Californians for a Healthy and Green Economy (CHANGE), where she strategically looks at the political landscape and helps design efforts to build power and address toxic chemicals as it relates to reproductive health through elections, legislative efforts and community politics.

Andria Hancock-Crear

Vice President

Andria Hancock-Crear is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health care advocacy and community service. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Capacity Building at Essential Access Health, Andria champions quality sexual and reproductive health care.

In addition, Andria holds the position of Vice President on the Board of Directors for Black Women For Wellness Action Project, focusing on empowering Black women and girls through a reproductive justice framework. In leadership roles at The Ivy Centennial Foundation and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Andria contributes to educational support and community health initiatives.

Previous board experience includes tenures at teenNow California and Community Engagement Initiatives, along with serving as President of the Board of Directors for Secure Transitions Foster Family Treatment Agency, emphasizing support for foster youth and families.

With over 15 years of experience in the reproductive justice movement, Juana Rosa has dedicated her career to advancing equity and freedom. Most recently, she served as Director of ReproCollab at the Caring for Colorado Foundation, where she designed and implemented an initiative that invested $10 million and leveraged an additional $9 million into Colorado’s reproductive equity ecosystem.

Her career spans national and global reproductive health, civil rights, and policy advocacy efforts. In California, she led the California Coalition for Reproductive Freedom, strengthening the capacity and visibility of more than 40 organizations in the state’s largest reproductive freedom alliance.

Juana Rosa brings a wealth of expertise, vision, and commitment to her new role at All* Above All, where she will continue to drive bold, transformative change in reproductive justice.

Treasurer

Executive director of Black Women for Wellness, a woman-centered community-based organization that educates Black women and girls about reproductive justice issues. While pregnant, Janette sought a holistic practitioner to work with and explore the concept of “a gentle birth”.

The experience allowed her to imagine a world where powerful women in optimum physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and financial health lead us into justice and peace. This spark lit the flame for Black Women for Wellness to be born. She is also a member of the Los Angeles Coalition for Reproductive Justice, the California Coalition for Reproductive Freedom, and In Our Own Voice, a national coalition of Black women advocating for reproductive justice.

Claudia Powell serves as the Vice President of Public Affairs for the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project Los Angeles County Action Fund, bringing more than 21 years of leadership experience in public affairs, community engagement, women’s health advocacy, and reproductive justice.

Throughout her career, she has remained dedicated to advancing health equity, protecting access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care and education, and empowering communities—particularly communities of color—to achieve better health outcomes and opportunities.

Grounded in a reproductive justice framework, Ms. Powell’s work focuses on addressing systemic health disparities through strategic advocacy, public policy, community education, and cross-sector partnerships. She is a passionate champion for equitable access to health care and has devoted her career to ensuring that historically underserved communities have a voice in the decisions that affect their lives and well-being.

Ms. Powell possesses extensive experience cultivating and managing relationships with elected officials and policymakers at the local, county, and state levels. As a trusted advisor and liaison, she bridges the gap between government leaders, community stakeholders, and mission-driven organizations. Through strategic public affairs initiatives, she has helped advance policies that protect and expand access to reproductive and women’s health care while guiding organizations through complex political and legislative environments.

A recognized leader in community engagement, coalition building, and sexual health education, Ms. Powell has successfully convened diverse stakeholders—including nonprofit organizations, healthcare providers, educators, faith leaders, media partners, and government agencies—to drive meaningful collective impact. Known for her ability to build trust and foster collaboration, she excels at aligning partners around shared goals that prioritize equity, access, and community well-being.

In addition to her policy and advocacy expertise, Ms. Powell has a proven track record of strengthening organizational visibility and credibility through integrated public affairs, community relations, and strategic communications efforts. Her expertise in stakeholder engagement, public positioning, and mission-driven communications has helped organizations enhance their reputation, expand their influence, and deepen trust within the communities they serve.

Ms. Powell’s leadership style is collaborative, values-driven, and results-oriented. She brings a unique combination of policy expertise, community credibility, strategic communications acumen, and relationship-building excellence. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, Elizabeth was raised by two labor leader parents and grew up in the political arena. After working for the former Governor of Missouri Jay Nixon, Elizabeth followed her dreams of becoming an actress and moved to California.

She began working at the Service Employees International Union as a Political Organizer in the Bay Area before transferring to Los Angeles where she began acting in theater. Her most recent stage work is in the productions of the renowned Don B. Welch. Elizabeth is SAG-eligible and is currently writing her first feature narrative screenplay.

With over 15 years of experience in politics and advocacy for marginalized communities, including working for California Senator Lola Smallwood-Cuevas, Elizabeth has combined her passion for the arts with her purpose to serve and shares her voice to instill love through her acting, writing, producing, and directing as well as her advocacy work as the Director of Partnerships for a homelessness prevention and services nonprofit.

Born and raised in the townships of Kliptown and Eldorado Park on the south side of Johannesburg in the Republic of South Africa, Rev. Kelvin Sauls is a compassionate and courageous, collaborative, and catalytic visionary leader for positive and transformative change in the areas of racial justice, economic equity, gender equality and environmental restoration. Intersectionality is his love language as he bridges streets and suites, pulpit and pavement through faith-rooted organizing for more healthier, equitable and thriving communities.

Rev. Sauls hosts a bi-weekly podcast, “Faith Without Borders”. Additionally, he writes an occasional column, “Faith UPfront,” for the Los Angeles Sentinel. These faith-rooted platforms are progressive and prophetic thought-provoking engagements for solutions-driven dialogue about wide-ranging issues facing marginalized and under-resourced communities – locally, nationally, and globally.

Lauren Babb is a fierce advocate for social and reproductive justice, with over a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, public policy, political campaigns, 501(c)(4) advocacy, and state government. She currently serves as Chief Public Affairs Officer for Planned Parenthood Mar Monte—the nation’s largest affiliate—where she also leads its political advocacy arm, Planned Parenthood Advocates Mar Monte.

Appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom, Lauren chaired the California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls, where she launched the state’s first $5 million grant program focused on women’s economic recovery during COVID-19. Her leadership has been recognized with the Gen Now Award from the California Black Women’s Collective and by First Partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom’s Women Taking Space in the Golden State initiative.

Mike Young has nearly two decades of experience working on electoral campaigns and organizing with key political and grassroots community partners to build strategic relationships that have helped both identify and support environmental leaders, as well as hold legislators accountable to their community’s concerns.

Mike is a founding board member of the non-profits LA Forward and Black Women for Wellness Action Project. He’s a graduate of Pepperdine University where he earned B.A.s in Political Science and Philosophy, as well as an Undergraduate Certificate in Dispute Resolution.

Victoria Cepeida-Mojarro is a seasoned social justice and electoral campaign strategist with over two decades of experience advancing immigrant rights, health access, racial equity, and reproductive justice. Most recently, she served as a liberatory philanthropic practitioner at Groundswell Action Fund, where she spent five transformative years supporting women of color-led reproductive justice organizations.

A native of Los Angeles and the daughter of Mexican immigrants, Victoria’s roots shape her lifelong dedication to equity and collective liberation. She is also a proud mother of three brilliant kids. In her free time, you’ll find her reading, vibing to house music, dancing at live concerts, or tending to her garden.
